This video is great, because its like all the other recruting videos but with some irony.

You may ask, what the matrix has in common with uberarbeit. Sometimes i feel like living inside the matrix. Most of the people are living their lifes of beeing batteries for the capitalism. They were forced to do, what they have to do, without even knowing it. They work to buy a bigger flatscreen, a faster car, a "better life" but they don't have any time and energy left.

Personally i don't believe in this plan, but i haven't figured out witch path to go instead. I value experience and meeting great people more than things. I never thought about my first MP3 Player has changed my life, but i often think about foreign places and people that i met. And the most interesting people are also looking for their way outside of "the matrix".

This blog is not about work, it is about living a life with work.

Ein Projekt mit Parasol Island

Für die Weltpremiere des Mercedes GLK, wurde ein Trailer gedreht. Mit den Dreharbeiten konnte erst eine Woche vor der Präsentation begonnen werden und ich war verantwortlich, dass alles reibungslos läuft. Der Dreh war am Wochenende in Barcelona, der Schnitt wurde parallel im Hotelzimmer gestartet, das Material wurde anschließend in zwei verschiedenen Flugzeugen nach Deutschland gebracht.Dienstag wurde der Schnitt in Düsseldorf beendet und als Projektdatei nach München zur Farbkorrektur geschickt. Nur 60h nach Ende der Dreharbeiten war das fertige Band auf dem Weg nach Peking.

Normalerweise benötigt eine vergleichbare Produktion mehr als drei Wochen. Nur durch den Einsatz neuster Technik und vielen Tests in der Vorbereitung war es möglich diesen Zeitplan zu halten.
